Same skill, different stages. Building infrastructure that holds.
I started out watching million-dollar recording studios get replaced by laptops. Instead of panicking, I got good at building systems that worked when everything else was changing. That habit took me to Apple, then to scaling a technology consultancy to $48M, then to helping 100+ businesses stop drowning in manual processes.
Today I teach at SAIT, consult for companies between $2M and $35M in size, and serve as Entrepreneur in Residence at Platform Calgary. My philosophy hasn't changed: solve the business problem first, then pick the technology.
