About Me

I solve business problems. Cutting-edge technologies are just my tools.

Over 30 years in IT and education, I've worked with Fortune-100 technology companies, energy and transportation companies, all the way down to first-time founders. The pattern is always the same. They're drowning in vendors pitching solutions, but nobody's asking what problem actually needs solving.

I start with your business challenge. Revenue leaking somewhere? Process eating too much time? Growth bottlenecked by manual work? Then, and only then, do I look at whether robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), or another technology makes sense. Sometimes the answer is no.

My approach: assess where you are, identify real opportunities (not theoretical ones), then build the internal capability so your team owns it. Think roadmaps, training, and systems that actually stick. I've turned this into several post-secondary courses at multiple institutions because the gap between technology hype and business reality is that consistent.

I only recommend what works when you factor in cost, security, and whether your people can actually use it. No solutions in search of problems. No permanent consulting dependency.

If you need someone who speaks both business and technology, and knows which one drives the other, that's where I operate.
